JAC Spring Retreat
Join our community of artists and entrepreneurs as we discuss gaining traction on ideas, learning to balance working in the industry and working with a Kingdom mindset.
We are delighted to have Nick Barre, partner and artist manager at Proper Management, as our guest speaker for the weekend. Prior to Proper Management, Nick worked in Creative Development for Charlie Peacock Productions and then went on to be Vice President of Artist Development at EMI CMG.
The atmosphere will be relaxed as we are welcomed into the beautiful home of one of our Journey Arts Collective community members. They are located in Brentwood, just a 5 minute drive from Journey:
1824 Stryker Place
To keep costs down we enjoy sleeping in our own beds and come together for each of the days activities.
Dates and Times:
Friday May 17 - 7.30pm to 9.30pm
Saturday May 18 - 10am to 9.30pm
Sunday May 19 - 10am to 3pm
To get the most from the retreat we encourage you to be there the whole weekend. If that's not possible we still want you to join us. You can choose the day(s) you will be joining us when you register and the price is adjusted accordingly. If you are only coming Friday night there is no need to register, but we ask you to bring a small plate of finger food to share.
While Friday and Saturday evening sessions will wrap up at 9.30pm, we welcome you to stay on. Bring some drinks to share, a deck of cards or your favorite board game to play, or we can get some popcorn heated up and a movie going. It will be a time to hangout and relax.
Since our beginning the Journey Arts Collective has gathered for:
Open Mic Nights
Common Interest Groups
Workshops and Training
To stay connected to all that's happening with JAC we encourage you to follow us on social media and keep an eye on our events page.
